Section 8 Company Registration

A Section 8 company is a non-profit organization (NPO) in India that promotes charitable causes. Section 8 companies are registered under the Companies Act of 2013.

To register a Section 8 company in India, you need to follow these steps:

(i). Get a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): Get a DSC for each proposed director of the company. You'll need to provide proof of identity and address.

(ii). Get a Director Identification Number (DIN): Submit Form DIR-3 to the ROC along with the DSC. The ROC will assign a DIN to each director after the form is approved.

(iii). Reserve a company name: Choose a name for your company.

(iv). Apply for a license: Submit Form INC-12 to the ROC along with the required documents.

(v).Get a license: The ROC will issue a license in Form INC-16 if the application is approved.

(v).Get a Certificate of Incorporation: The ROC will issue a Certificate of Incorporation and a Company Identification Number (CIN) if the application is approved.
